Excellent art in a relatively modern but important historic structure. Well worth a visit to understand better the importance of the surrounding park.
What a shame! Looms abandoned and run down. Make employee out front on phone going on and on about nonsense was not the peaceful entrance I expected. Empty and random metal folding chairs on lower level. A few pieces of art upstairs horribly displayed. Gift shop closed because employee didn’t show up, we asked as the sign said open but it was not. Gorgeous statue being ignored outside and a pile of dead potted plants strewn about. No maintenance or upkeep
And a single overgrown look out. Terrible!!
Nice art. But had to walk over a half mile both ways to get there and back to my car because a sign said the parking lot was closed-despite there being plenty of spaces open when I actually arrived. Also, I like buying indigenous art but I couldn't do that here because the gift shop was closed for some reason. Overall it's not worth the effort to come here.
Awesome place to visit to know about all tribes and cultures in North America! A lot of items from all tribes including Pottery. Definitely got to check this place out, sad I missed the Powwow though. Ill be back!
Sunday at the at the daybreak star artmart was busy.Rez food truck was present.Elders popcorn and cookies was good. There was alot of good art to feast your eyes on.
Was there for Seafair Powow. One of my favorite Seafair activities. Not native, but identify with the culture. I was welcomed to share the elder tent and enjoyed the hospitality of all...The food was GREAT! I tried something different each day and it was ALL tasty.
We were here for a wedding and it is a wonderful venue. There is a great view of Puget Sound from the park. The venue itself has a ton of space, and clean bathrooms, storage space, and interesting history of the area!
Love this place beautiful I love the structure and it's art work. Awesome you can have events here.
